Reroute Technologies LLC is a technology company operating a software platform that connects customers with independent contractor drivers. We provide matching, communication, payment, and compliance tools. We do not perform deliveries, employ drivers, or act as a carrier, insurer, or bailee of items moved through the Platform. Background screening helps verify driver eligibility for Platform access. Reroute relies on third-party vendors for reports and is not liable for vendor errors except as required by law.
1. Authorization
You authorize Reroute Technologies LLC and designated vendors (including GigSafe, consumer reporting agencies, and identity-verification partners) to obtain, review, and use background information about you as described here and in our Privacy Policy.
2. Scope of Investigation
Background information may include:
- Motor vehicle records (MVR) and driving history.
- Criminal history records where permitted by law.
- Identity verification and sex-offender registry checks where permitted.
- Employment or gig-platform history reasonably related to eligibility.
- Periodic re-checks while you remain active on the Platform.
3. Certification and Release
You certify information you provide is true and complete. You authorize vendors to share results with Reroute for eligibility, safety, compliance, and enforcement. You release Reroute and vendors from claims arising from lawful screening, except where prohibited by law. Reroute is a technology platform—not the creator of third-party reports.
4. Fees
New drivers clear a $31 background-check fee during GigSafe signup — pay there, or upload a qualifying Yardstik report (run within the past 60 days) in GigSafe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Adverse Action and FCRA Rights (U.S.)
If a consumer report contributes to an adverse eligibility decision, you may receive FCRA notices and may obtain a free report copy and dispute inaccurate information. Questions: support@go-reroute.com.
6. Ongoing Monitoring
You authorize periodic eligibility checks while using the Platform to confirm continued compliance with safety and legal requirements.
7. Withdrawal
Do not register as a driver if you do not authorize checks. Withdrawing authorization after onboarding may result in deactivation because screening is required for Platform access.
8. Platform Limitation
Reroute uses screening results for Platform access decisions only. Reroute does not guarantee driver safety, customer satisfaction, or job outcomes. Screening reduces risk but does not eliminate it.
